About Studio Wysp
Wysp is a design studio led by Jack Nelson, EMC- specializing in sustainable sculptural floral designs for weddings, events, and workshops inspired by organic forms.
The philosophy behind Wysp is centered around bringing us back to where we come from, and that is nature. Navigating the world we've created can often prove difficult, but one thing that can help ground us is flora. The movement of a vine, the scent of a fresh bud, and even the wilting of an old bloom all prove as a reminder to stay in the moment, and help root ourselves in the now.
Jack is a conscious creative with a passion for creating unique and meaningful works of floral art. Their work is inspired by the natural, wild growth the world has to offer- combined with a human made architectural touch. Being based in a studio surrounded by a multitude of other artists and medias, they take a lot of inspiration from the art world through their design process.
Jack have been involved in the floral industry professionally since 2019, however they have been fascinated by the world of flowers since as young as they can remember. They obtained their European Masters Certificate for floristry in Bruges, Belgium in 2023. They have done professional floral work with Florists Review and Smithers-Oasis, and they have assisted in floral workshops with the Interflora World Cup, Bart Hassam, and more.
